During the Spring of 2007, r³ (reaction, revitalization, relevancy) works was created by students at the UTA SOA as a design-build studio under the instruction of Brent Brown. Seven students enrolled and worked together to design a single family house in the Bertrand neighborhood, in keeping with bcWORKSHOP's mission to improve the livability and viability of communities through quality design. In the past, the neighborhood has heard plenty of talk, but rarely have they seen action.
