Thomas Simpson

Design Manager

Thomas Simpson is a Design Manager at buildingcommunityWORKSHOP leading the Affordable Infill Model (AIM) for Dallas initiative, researching, strategizing, and implementing housing affordability strategies throughout the city.

Over his time at buildingcommunityWORKSHOP, Thomas has helped develop and contribute to a number of [bc] initiatives, including POP Dallas, Activating Vacancy, Neighborhood Stories and bcANALYTICS. Thomas’s success on these projects has relied on his ability to build trusting relationships, conduct probing research, and manage complex challenges, and his knowledge of affordable housing policy and practice and Dallas history and geography.

Thomas joined [bc]at a bcFELLOW after completing his undergraduate studies at Princeton University in History and Urban Studies with a focus on transportation and planning in twentieth century America.
